Janet Finch-Saunders is a Conservative Party politician and Assembly Member for Aberconwy in the National Assembly for Wales after the May 2011 election.〔http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/special/election2011/constituency/html/26665.stm BBC News Election 2011 special〕 ==Political career== Janet was elected to the Llandudno Town Council〔(Llandudno: List of councillors )〕 She was elected onto Conwy County Borough Council, for the Craig-y-Don Ward in 2004, and then appointed to the Cabinet with overall responsibility for Community Safety and Public Protection matters.〔(Conservative Party: Prospective Welsh Assembly Regional Candidate )〕 In 2003 she was selected as candidate for the seat of Wrexham, but came third on the regional list. In January 2011 she was appointed Policy Adviser by leader of the Conservative Party in Wales.
